Since the 2025 edition, the Dakar no longer has a quad category. Quad riders haven't vanished, though: several major events are still open to them.
On the sand
The Le Touquet Quaduro, held on the Enduropale weekend (29-31 January 2027), remains the big beach event for quads and SSVs. The French sand racing championship also offers several winter rounds.
Bajas and rallies
The FIM Bajas World Cup welcomes bikes and quads on short formats lasting two to four days. In Morocco, rallies such as the Tuareg Rallye accept both bike and quad entries.
